    Welcome!

    Welcome to Third Grade! I am very excited to be your student’s teacher this year. I am looking forward to making lifelong memories with the class while creating a classroom community that fosters an enthusiasm for learning.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Beloit College in 2008 with Bachelor’s Degrees in Elementary Education and Sociology. I began teaching 2nd grade in Wisconsin (GO PACK GO) in 2008. In 2010 I moved to Arizona and have been fortunate to be teaching at Sanborn ever since.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each student that steps foot in my door is capable of being successful. Each school year, my goal is to create a classroom community that fosters a love of learning. It is my job as their teacher to help determine where each student’s energy and motivation is and to teach them use that to drive their excitement for discovery.
