About Mrs. Heather Cole...
I am excited to work with you this school year! I enjoy working with students on campus to help meet academic and behavior goals. You will likely see me in your classes and around campus, so please be sure to say hi! I look forward to meeting our new Jaguars.
My Education and Professional Background
Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Secondary Education - Ottawa University 2002
Masters in Education in Applied Behavior Analysis - Arizona State University 2018
This is my 21st year in Education, and I love being a Jag! I taught middle school science for 18 years, and then received my graduate degree from ASU, which helped me transition to Special Education, Intervention, and Applied Behavior Analysis.
In addition to my position as Behavior Interventionist here at AJHS, I also teach for Chandler Online Academy, and am a Registered Behavior Technician. I am currently pursuing my board certification to become a BCBA.
I love helping students set and reach their goals, and I look forward to working with you!
My Educational Philosophy
All students have the ability to learn. We must find our individual strengths and build on them. It is never too late and you are never too old to learn!
