• 5th Grade Suggested Supply List

    • 2 inch binder, 3-ringed
      • This will be their personal binder where they keep all of their handouts/homework. It will be kept in their backpacks and brought to school every day
    • page protectors
      • This will be a community supply, and the teacher will hand them out as needed for different projects throughout the year. We use about 8-10 per student each year
    • 3 different highlighters (yellow, pink, and orange—stay away from blue)
      • They can keep one of each color for their personal use in class. All extras will become part of the community to replace old/dried out ones throughout the year
    • 8 subject divider tabs
      • Be sure to get the ones with clear tab inserts. I will be supplying the labels for the students on the first day of school
    • 1 subject hole-punched notebooks
      • Students will need about 4 of these throughout the year for writing, science, social studies, and math. They are normally kept in the binder, so do not get big, thick ones.
    • college ruled and wide ruled notebook paper
      • This will be a community supply.
    • pencils
      • The students may keep a few for their personal use, but the rest will become a community supply. Ticonderoga pencils are the best quality and most recommended by the teachers
    • pencil top erasers
      • This will be a community supply.
    • black dry erase markers
      • This will be a community supply.
    • earbuds
      • These will be for their own personal use. We have headphone for the students who do not have earbuds.
    • Kleenex
      • This will be a community supply.
    • flash drive
      • This will be for their own personal use. Most of our work can be saved without a flash drive, but they will definitely need one in science.
    • baby wipes
      • This will be a community supply.
    • blue and red ball point pens
      • This will be a community supply.
    • gallon sized zip lock bags
      • This will be a community supply.
