About Mrs. Weidenbach ...
Hi, my name is Annette Weidenbach and I am so excited to share this wonderful year of Kindergarten with your child! I feel so blessed with the opportunity to share my passion for teaching with my students! I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful daughters together, plus a handsome, furry, little 4-legged son named Charlie :)
My Education and Professional Background
I am originally from Brooklyn, New York and left in 1992 to attend Northern Arizona University. I graduated NAU in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and started my educational career at Porter Elementary in Mesa, teaching grades kindergarten, first, third, and fourth in the 7 years I was there. Through Porter Elementary I discovered my love for teaching the younger grades and have been a pre-k teacher for the last 15 years. I am currently finishing my master’s degree with Grand Canyon University and will earn my graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction this September. I am also Spaulding 1 certified and have an Early Childhood Endorsement.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe each child has the ability to create a successful educational career with the support of their teacher and family working together as a community. I truly devote time connecting with each child and fulfilling their individual needs to build a confident learner and have the mindset that they can be successful and achieve anything they consistently put effort towards. As their teacher, I am proud to stand by their side cheering them along the way and guiding them towards their goals.
