    Welcome to Mrs. Schmidt's Kindergarten class! Kindergarten is a fun-filled year of learning and exploration. I look forward to being a part of your child's success here at Patterson Elementary.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a B.A. in Elementary Education from Ottawa University, as well as an Early Childhood endorsement.  I have been teaching here at Patterson since 2009.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe Kindergarten provides the foundation for a child's education. It is my goal to provide my students with a safe, nurturing and fun classroom environment. This enables each child to develop the necessary skills and knowledge that will support them in being capable, confident and competent lifelong learners.
