    Welcome!

    Welcome to second grade! I'm Beth Hough and I'm very excited to be your child's second grade teacher! Prior to joining the second grade team, I've taught resource (K-3), first and fifth grades here at Patterson. Additionally, I'm a very busy mom of three, all of whom attended CUSD since kindergarten. One of my daughters is a graduate of ASU, I have another currently attending there, and my son is a senior at Basha H.S.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I completed my Masters in Education at ASU, whle my Bachelor's degree is in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame (GO IRISH!!).  Prior to teaching, I was a stay-at-home mom, and before that, I held a variety of positions in the business sector.  My love of teaching my own children is what led me to pursue teaching as a second career.

    My philosophy as an educator is to help each of my students reach their individual full potential.
