    Welcome to sixth grade at Patterson Elementary! Thank you for sharing your child with me! I am so excited for an amazing last year of elementary school!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been in the Chandler School District since 2000 and have taught 5th grade and 6th grade! My dream of becoming a teacher started at an early age! I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Grand Canyon University in 2000. I then went on to earn my Master's Degree, with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction, from Northern Arizona University in 2003.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas. I believe that I do whatever it takes to help my students become life-long learners!
