    Welcome!

    Hello and Greetings from the Music Room! My name is Andrea "Dalene" Husky and I am so excited to be a part of the CTA Liberty family! I have been teaching music since 1984. I love being able to share my love for music with our wonderful students! I am originally from Texas, so you might hear me say “y'all”! I do, however, absolutely love living in Arizona.

    My Education and Professional Background

    My bachelor's degree in Fine Arts came from the University of Texas at Tyler. I received a Master's Degree in Music Education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. I am also a Kodaly certified teacher, trained in Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

    My Educational Philosophy

    My goals for this school year include continuing to foster the enthusiasm, the excitement, and the love of music for each and every child. Developing musical literacy, songs and singing games from various cultures, listening activities, movement activities, playing instruments, performance opportunities, as well as attending performances are all part of the Arizona Standards for Music and will be experienced in the classroom through general music and choir. I look forward to continuing the journey.
