    Welcome, families! I am so excited to be your Dean of Students this year. I look forward to meeting your family.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from the University of Arizona (Bear Down!) with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education. I received my Master's Degree from Arizona State University in Curriculum and Instruction and later received a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. I began my teaching career in 2002, and taught both primary and intermediate grades before moving into administration in 2019. My husband and I have two boys who attend schools in CUSD.

    My Educational Philosophy

    As a campus leader, it is my goal to support teachers and staff with instructional best practices and student engagement strategies, as well as to model exemplary behavior for students and staff. I believe that parents play a critical role in their children's education, and look forward to working side-by-side with families to provide our students with the very best education.
