  •  Mrs. Nally's Class!
    Welcome Back

My name is Theresa Nally, welcome to 4th Grade at Riggs! We have an amazing team here in 4th Grade and are looking forward to getting to know all of our families this year. Here at Riggs we commit to the academic and social development of all students! I believe our classroom will instill the ability and desire to be life long learners. In our class we will learn to be active investigators, think critically, be self directed learners and effective communicators.

    A Little  About Mrs. Nally
My husband, children and I  relocated to Arizona in 2006. We transferred from Ohio. There, I graduated with Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Akron and taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades for several years. After relocating to AZ, I taught fifth grade at a neighboring school district prior to teaching 3rd and now 4th grade here at Riggs. I joined the Riggs Roadrunners in 2009 and have been attached ever since.  In addition to my undergraduate degree, I completed my Masters in Education with a Reading Endorsement at Northern Arizona University.  I truly enjoy working and being involved at Riggs Elementary. Teaching elementary school is my passion.
Also, My husband and I have four beautiful children, three girls and one boy. Our two adult children, live here in Chandler and our two teenagers attend Casteel High School. Additionally, we are proud dog owners of English Mastiffs. Our family spends a lot of time outdoors with our friends hiking, running, biking, paddle boarding, and many other activities and sports that help keep us young!  We also love rooting for our favorite teams "The Ohio State Buckeyes, "Cleveland ", "Notre Dame" and "The Dallas Cowboys"
I look forward to getting to know each and everyone of my students and their families this year. I know it will be another fantastic year of learning!
