    My Education and Professional Background

    I have been a resource teacher since 2021 and this is my second year at Riggs. I got my bachelors degree in the areas of elementary education and special education from Arizona State University. I am very happy to continue my years of being a SPED teacher here at Riggs!

    My Educational Philosophy

    My philosophy for teaching is that I believe with perseverance, hard work and confidence building that students can thrive in their environment. Teaching is a process of learning from the students and helping them learn skills that best fit their needs, so they can utilize them for the continuation of their education. I aim to bring a positive attitude, open mind and high expectations for my students into the classroom each day.
