    Welcome!

    Hello! My name is Laura Krug, and I am delighted to be a Special Education teacher in Chandler! I am married and have two children who both attended school in CUSD. I am proud to be a member of the Chandler Unified family.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I was born and raised in a suburb of Chicago, Illinois. I earned my Bachelors degree in Journalism. After moving to Chandler and taking time off to spend with my children, I began working as a paraeducator at Conley in 2003. I discovered that I have a passion for teaching children with special needs, so I went back to school. I earned my Masters degree in special education from Northern Arizona University and taught at Conley starting in 2005. I am happy to be joining Hancock Elementary!

    In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

    While we may have different learning styles, all students are capable of success!
