Keep up to date with your child's grades by signing up for and viewing grades/assignments on Infinite Campus:
Welcome to Room 27! We applaud our families who are returning to Conley, and cheer on our brand-new Coyotes! My name is Jennifer Corkins, and I will be your child's fourth-grade teacher. This website is designed to provide resources for you and your child. I look forward to corresponding with you and listening to your suggestions. I'm looking forward to an exciting, fun-filled school year with your child!
My Education and Professional Background
I attended A.S.U. for my undergraduate studies in education, and then earned my masters degree. My teaching career first started at Jacobson Elementary where I taught third grade for three years. I then taught in Chicago for two years and enjoyed my experience living in the city. After returning to Arizona, I wrote curriculum and helped train teachers at an educational consulting company for three years. I missed teaching, and returned to Chandler to teach at Weinberg Elementary for ten years. Following my teaching experience at Weinberg, I relocated to Conley in 2013.
My Educational Philosophy
I'm proud to mention that I am an Arizona native and I have grown up attending Chandler schools. I feel it is essential to give back to the community, and I find it a privilege to teach children at C.U.S.D. I love providing a safe and welcoming environment for students. It's an eye-opening experience to discover the many learning styles students demonstrate throughout the year. By providing problem-solving and exploratory activities, students can practice skills and exceed expectations.
