Welcome to Mrs. Riley's Accelerated Kindergarten Class! I am so thrilled to be your teacher! I know you will thrive and have a fabulous year! We are going to have an exciting year of learning, discovery and growth.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University and earned my Ph.D. in Early Childhood Education; specializing in Teacher Education, Master's Degree in English as a Second Language and my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher and a Rodel Exemplary teacher. I have taught for 16 years in Kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade. I also teach Bachelors and Masters Courses in Elementary and Early Childhood at Arizona State University.
My Educational Philosophy
My goal is to create a positive and engaging classroom environment that fosters a love for learning and success. I strive to have each child be successful with their unique abilities to reach his or her full potential.
