About
Yubeta...
Welcome to Hancock Elementary! I am honored to join the Hancock family as your Dean of Students and thrilled to be a part of this very special community. In the short time I have been here, I have had the privilege to experience amazing teachers, caring families, and awesome students.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated in 2004 with an undergraduate degree in Business Management. I later earned a Master's degree in Elementary Education and another Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I began teaching in 2006 as a Kindergarten teacher and have had the fortunate opportunity to also teach both 4th, and 6th grade right here in CUSD.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe every student should feel their school is a place where they can express themselves, take risks, and have fun while learning. Our school should be an environment where students not only can reach their highest academic potential but grow both socially and emotionally through peer interactions and support from staff.
