About Mr. Robert Lee...
Room: Computer Lab/Room 13 (STEM)
Welcome to Technology/STEM at Hancock Elementary! My name is Robert Lee and I am so excited to be teaching in the Chandler School District. Technology and STEM lessons are critical to the future success of our students. The skills they will learn will help them to be critical thinkers, problem solvers, and communicators. They will use these skills to help prepare them for a bright future!
My Education and Professional Background
I have always loved school! I tell my students every day that I enjoy coming to school and being around other people. It was an easy choice to attend college to become a teacher. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2009 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. I started teaching in kindergarten, but quickly learned that age group wasn't for me! I moved to Chandler and the 5th grade in 2011, and am now teaching my third year in the Technology/STEM specials classroom.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that students need to be in a safe environment for them to learn. They need to be able to make mistakes, learn from them, and give and receive feedback. It is a collaborative effort between students, teachers, and parents that will create this positive environment. We will work as a team to create fun and memorable experiences that will stay with students throughout their educational careers.
