    Curriculum Presentations Thursday, March 28th

Sixth-grade students have the opportunity to participate in an educational curriculum to inform them about human growth and development. The curriculum is available in two options. The first is for home use. Parents/guardians can access the three narrated 6th grade PowerPoints from home to deliver as you determine. The second option for students to experience this curriculum is at school. The same narrated PowerPoints will be used. Parental/guardian permission is required. If permission is not granted, the student will not be included in the human growth and development curriculum at school.

If you wish to preview the curriculum prior to making a decision, it is available at:

CUSD Human Growth and Development Information

CUSD permission slips letters were sent home on Tuesday, March 5th and are due signed and returned no later than Tuesday, March 26th.

Please reach out to your child's teacher with any questions you may have regarding this curriculum.

  • 9/11 Remembrance & Grandparents Event - Monday, September 11th

Posted by Mary Rinne on 9/4/2023

Patriot Day Flag PictureCTA Liberty will acknowledge and remember the events on 9/11 with a scheduled event for all students to attend. We will meet in the back of the school in the fire lane at approximately 8:30 am. All students will be given a flag to wave and will remain standing for a 15-minute remembrance. Our very own CTA Voices of Liberty will perform.

9/11 is a day for us to remember, reflect, and teach our students our history. Parents are welcome to attend the short, 15-minute, remembrance but please be aware parking will be greatly reduced. Please remember to be respectful of our neighbors.

We are also celebrating Grandparents on that day as well following our remembrance from 9:00 to 9:30 am, in your student's classroom. Please grandparents only attend as space in the classroom is limited.

We hope you can join us for the special day of remembrance and celebration.
