    Welcome!

    Welcome to First Grade! My name is Mrs. Fittro and my heart is so happy that I get to be your teacher this year! I know this will be a wonderful year of learning and growing together!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Arizona State University in 2012. Go Sun Devils! For 10 years, I taught both first and second grade in a neighboring school district before coming to CUSD. Last year I taught third grade at Conley and I am so excited to be back in first grade this year!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe all students deserve to learn and grow in a safe and caring environment. Relationships and trust are the core of my classroom and what makes it function everyday. Coming to school with a positive attitude ready to learn help make everyday better. I also strive on constant communication between students and parents/guardians. I try to be as transparent and honest as I can. I look forward to a year of taking chances, persevering when things get hard, and making every day count! YOU matter in this classroom and I can't wait to see all the great things we accomplish this year!
