Hi, I'm Ms. Newberry. I have been teaching in Chandler since 2001. I grew up in Omaha, NE. In 1994 the sun and fun drew me to Phoenix. I currently live in Chandler and enjoy riding my bike, traveling, looking at model homes, and spending time with my friends and family.
My Education and Professional Background
My undergraduate degree is from Arizona State University and I earned my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University. I am currently working on my doctorate in K-12 Organizational Leadership at Grand Canyon University. I have endorsements in Sheltered English Immersion and Early Childhood Education. In addition, I am CLIP (literacy intervention) trained
My Educational Philosophy
My philosophy is to teach from the heart while allowing students to discover their own abilities to be a scholar and positive leader in our school community.
