    Welcome to fifth grade!! I am so excited to have all of you in my classroom. :)

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Science and an endorsement in Structured English Immersion! I attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff for my undergraduate degree. I am going into my first year here at Conley Elementary, as well as my first year of teaching full-time! I attended schools within CUSD for the majority of my K-12 education. I went to Ryan Elementary and later attended Arizona College Preparatory for 7-12 grade. I love being a part of the CUSD community, and I cannot wait to become a part of the family here at Conley Elementary! :)

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that education is the single most powerful tool that we have, and I think that access to quality education is a right we all have! I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to teach your students and I am so excited to do whatever I can to instill a lifelong love of learning and working alongside others. The learning in our classroom will be full of fun, excitement, and hard work! As a teacher, I hope to facilitate meaningful and relevant conversations and activities for students to learn about the world around them and how to function successfully in that world. I also value a strong classroom community, including parents at the core of that community! I am so excited to get this year started and to meet all of you!
