    Welcome!

    Welcome to third grade! My name is Betsy Schultz, and I am so excited to be at Ryan Elementary School. Teaching is my passion! I love to learn and can't wait to share this quality with my students each year. My husband, Matt, and I are originally from Nebraska and moved to Arizona in 2011. We have two wonderful little boys, Namon and Noah.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education in 2003, and I earned my Master of Science Degree in the Curriculum and Instruction of Early Childhood Education in 2008. I also have an SEI endorsement. I began my career of teaching in 2004. I love teaching third grade!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe in providing my students with the opportunity to learn in a safe and caring learning environment where we encourage, support, and care for one another. My hope as an educator is to instill the love of learning in my students, as I share my own passion for learning with them daily.
