IEP Services/Special Education

  • Welcome!  We are looking forward to working with your child to meet their individual learning goals.  The BJHS campus offers several levels of special education support including resource, co-taught, mainstreaming, strategies class, and specialized classrooms.  The IEP team at BJHS is dedicated to meeting the needs of the students with special needs.  Each student with an identified disability and eligibility for special education services is provided with an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) that targets specific needs and provides appropriate goals, services, accommodations, and supports so that each student in our program has the opportunity to be successful in school.

The BJHS IEP Services team currently includes 7 full time special education teachers, a school psychologist, a clerk, and paraprofessionals.  Itinerant staff include the speech and language pathologist, occupational therapist, physical therapist, vision specialist, hearing specialist, and adaptive PE.
