At Conley Elementary, we not only provide an outstanding education, but we also nurture our community.
Meet the Teacher / Curriculum Night
Meet the Teacher/Curriculum Night is held just days before the start of each new school year. Families are invited to visit the school and their children's classrooms. This allows parents and students to meet their new teacher, learn a little bit about him/her and how the classroom is set up, hear a presentation about what the students will be learning and how the classroom will be managed, but ultimately, it helps students to be more comfortable and prepared for their first day of school.
Every Friday, students are encouraged to wear Conley colors (purple and yellow).
Parent-Teacher Conferences are held during Quarter 1 and 3. This is a chance for teachers to share student progress.
Celebrations of Learning
Celebrations of Learning take place at the start of Quarter 3 (based on Quarters 1 and 2) and the end of Quarter 4 (based on Quarters 3 and 4). Students are honored for the following:
Principal's List (earning all A's)
Merit Honor Roll (earning all A's and B's)
Honor Roll (earning a B average)
Art & Science Night
Art & Science Night occurs in Quarter 3. It is a culmination of students' preparation for the Science Fair. Their projects are displayed and awards are given at the end of the night. Science activities are planned throughout the school for students to show their parents what they have been learning. We also have an art show to display all our students' creative talents.
Orchestra, Band, and the Coyote Chorus hold concerts throughout the year for students to share their musical talents with their classmates and families.
PE sponsors several events throughout the year that allow students to put the skills they have learned into action. Volleyball game, Winter Fun Run, Kickball Game, & Jump Rope for Heart.
PTO sponsors several events for the whole family.
