Mrs. Tollefson will be introducing the various Summer reading programs available to our students. Summer reading programs help children and teens retain and enhance their reading skills and ensure they continue to be prepared for the next school year. These programs have incentives that will help to motivate readers!Barnes & Noble Summer Reading-The Barnes & Noble Summer Reading program allows readers to read books of your own choosing and earn a FREE book! The program is for kids and adults as well! Read as a family! Just visit a store for a journal/ reading log and bring the completed log to the store and get a FREE book! More information at:

"Scholastic Read-a-palooza"- Requires a parent to register online.
Get ready to stop the summer slide – while helping kids in need – with the Scholastic Read-a-Palooza Summer Reading Challenge!
Pre-registration begins Monday, April 8.
Kids can enter minutes from Monday, May 6 until Friday, September 6.
