    The Chandler Unified School District is a premier district of choice, offering some of the top fine and performing arts programs in the state of Arizona. All students have the opportunity to participate in Band and Orchestra upon entering 5th grade. Students in grades kindergarten through 4th grade receive General Music instruction, and in grades 5th and 6th students can choose between General Music, Band or Orchestra.

    Each of Chandler's six high schools provide award-winning instrumental and vocal music programs as well as a wide range of visual arts opportunities. Chandler junior high schools provide elective opportunities with highly qualified instruction in instrumental and vocal music through band, orchestra, jazz band, chorus, visual arts, and many more. In addition, many before and after school clubs at all levels offer a variety of fine and performing arts opportunities..

Cami Clausen's wish is to take her concert choir to New York City to perform at Carnegie Hall. This choir was invited to perform but does not have all the funds to travel. This is Perry's third consecutive year of having their sports coverage recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

They participated in the Recording Session workshop in which they recorded their voices to tracks from two Disney films and got to see their work on the big screen. They also participated in the Group Acting class in which they created and built a story with movement and learned that all theatre and Disney is rooted in storytelling. It was an amazing experience for all of the students!

Of 500 pieces of art submitted, her painting was one out of only three selected to be published on note card sets for sale at the museum with proceeds going toward funding college scholarships. Additionally, the original piece was purchased by a Heard Museum member at the event. Korean Pop Culture Club presented a great musical selection for Asia Day. Tahitian and Hawaiian dance were performed by Jasmine Zaporteza. It was an amazing colorful multicultural experience!

Numerous students auditioned, 33 actors were part of the play, and 24 worked behind the stage. Christina Vail, our theatre instructor, turned Shakespeare's greatest tragedy into a spectacular hilarious version of the greatest play in the English Language. Our Theatre Department has been selected to perform at Phoenix Civic Plaza for an audience of 4,000! Incredible!
