Thank you for showing us all what a leader was! You always showed kindness, caring, and encouragement at every event and message sent. Dear Camille, Where should I even begin? Without question, my years in Chandler continue to be the highlight of my long career. The energy, the humanity and the community I experienced at Hamilton and again while at the District Office were an ever-present way of life for all fortunate enough to be a part of the CUSD family. Your leadership, your vision and your tireless commitment to the students, families and staff across the district has been invaluable and far-reaching. You have poured your heart into Chandler and so many of us have benefitted mightily from your presence, your persistence and your example. I respect you as a colleague, a boss, a mentor and most significantly, a friend. I wish you amazing and memorable moments ahead - time with family and friends - space to discover and pursue new endeavors and all the adventures you have imagined throughout your decades of service to this community. You are and will always be CUSD to me. With love, admiration and gratitude, Roseyn Hood |

Dr. Casteel, thank you so much for your dedication to our students, staff, and community. Before working in Chandler, I taught in a school with leadership from the superintendent that bullied staff and scared them into submission. It was such a breath of fresh air to see your strong leadership that empowered teachers to do what they know how to do best when I started working in Chandler. Words cannot say enough to express the gratitude for the culture that you have helped to create and for the time and sacrifice that you have put in to help that happen. Best luck in your retirement! |
