  • CUSD Dominates AzSEF (Arizona Science and Engineering Fair)

    Posted by Webmaster at 4/25/2017

AzSEF WebsiteChandler schools dominated the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF) held at the Phoenix Convention Center from April 11th - 13th, 2017, and won Best of Fair for the Elementary division for the second year in a row.

To give some perspective, although Chandler Unified educates less than 4% of the students in Arizona, our students took home more than half of the state's Grand Awards. Incredible job!

AzSEF is the science and engineering fair for the state of Arizona and is managed by Arizona Science Center.  School, homeschool, district, county and regional science fair first place winners from across Arizona compete at AzSEF for recognition, prizes and scholarships. Grand Award winners from the Senior High School Division go on to compete at the prestigious Intel International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF), which will be held in Los Angeles this year from May 14-19, 2017.  We are proud to announce that 8 out of the 15 Grand Award winning students from Arizona who will proceed to the International Fair hail from Chandler Unified School District! Wow!

Scroll down to see the details and photos (as we add them) about our fabulous schools and Science and Engineering Fair award-winning students.
