She was also awarded a New American University Scholar scholarship and a Science and Technology scholarship through CEF. She is graduating summa cum laude and is an AP Scholar. At Hamilton, Julia played the cello in orchestra and was a peer facilitator. She volunteers at the New Song Center. He volunteered at ICAN (Improving Chandler Area Neighborhoods) to help underprivileged students in the Chandler area. He was also Chairman of the Chandler Mayor's Youth Commission through which did unique civil engagement activities and volunteered at events. He also participated in the Congressional Award and got the Silver Certificate of Honor through that volunteer program. Morgan Davis
SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Morgan Davis is the captain of Hamilton High School's varsity pomline. She is a four-year varsity letterman and three-time All-American and UDA Pin It Forward recipient. Morgan is also on Hamilton High School's competition dance team, Hamilton Dance Company. Along with being the vice president of philanthropy for the National Charity League's Class of 2020, Morgan has held several other leadership positions in the six years she has been a member of that organization. Morgan is a Chandler Service Club Class of 2020 Flower Girl. This past fall, Morgan held a donation drive and collected new socks and underwear to be donated to the Clothes Cabin, a local charity. Morgan will be attending Grand Canyon University this fall where she will be majoring in nursing. Morgan's goal is to become a nurse practitioner. Maxwell Bregman
SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Max Bregman's natural leadership ability is reflected in his being selected as county representative for Boys State in Arizona, leading 90 boys to organize and develop the best county possible. He was captain of the varsity tennis team and coaches and volunteers for many organizations. Max exhibits creativity and motivation for product design and development, and was the founder and president of LaunchX, an entrepreneurial club providing a platform for high schoolers to create a business. Active in Model United Nations and as a committee leader, they won regional awards. Max is also a magician and runs a DJ and photography entertainment business. He was named a national winner of the Most Valuable Student Elks Foundation Scholarship. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Morgan Fowler will attend Barrett, the Honors College at Arizona State University to major in political science (B.S.) on the New American University scholarship as a National Hispanic Scholar. Morgan was president of Girl Up, event coordinator on the Girl Up Arizona state board, and committee leader of Model UN in which she won the awards of Distinguished Delegate, runner-up Best Delegate, and Best Country Award at the Maricopa Community College competition. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Saloni Biyani is a very hard-working student. She goes above and beyond for her classmates and is always willing to help others. She is a positive role model for other students and a great help to teachers. Her resume speaks for itself. Saloni's participation in multiple clubs and organizations every year shows just how selfless and involved she is. Her involvement in hospice has allowed Saloni to develop her joy for helping the elderly population and make a difference for families in the hospice program. She was appointed a shift leader where she oversaw 150 other volunteers and organized and reported to the leaders in the program. At school, she competed on the award-winning We the People team and also found time to compete in speech and debate. Saloni has been awarded four scholarships; the President's Scholarship, National Honors Society Scholarship, Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen Award, and the Voice of Democracy Scholarship. Esha Rajadhyaksha
SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Esha Rajadhyaksha was a four-year member of the girls tennis program. Senior year was her first year making varsity, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. She carries a 4.72 weighted GPA and scored a perfect score on the ACT. She was a Flinn Scholar semifinalist. She plans to attend UofA as a biology major, and aspires to be a pediatric surgeon. Esha was president/founder of Quilling for Hope, raising $1,600 for Mr. Burkhart's son through this foundation. Her many honors and activities include being secretary of Girl Up Club, on the advisory board for National Honor Society, Justice Core Value Award recipient of Dignity Health's summer volunteering program (volunteering 177 total hours with them), National Merit Commended Scholar, National AP Scholar and AP Scholar with Distinction, 2019 Character Counts 10K Scholarship finalist, and nomination by the American Psychological Association for academic achievements in AP Psychology. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Sam Winegarden has done it all Hamilton. He plays football, is a National Honor Society member, and is a top tier academic student with a 4.18 GPA. Sam had near perfect attendance this past year. On the football team, Sam performed at a high level earning the opportunity to play collegially. He was one of the team captains for varsity football that played in the "Open Division," barely losing in the Semi-finals. Sam will attend the University of Arizona and study engineering. Griffen McClendon
SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Griffen McClendon is the marketing director for Hamilton Theatre. The effort and energy that Griffen has put into the marketing of plays -- in posters, tickets and programs -- with the knowledge he gained in graphic design is truly worth noting. Hamilton Theatre is one of the top programs in the state, and their marketing is another aspect of what they do that truly sets them apart. He exhibits very high character. Griffen is a kind, inclusive and responsible leader. He always thinks about others and about how he can improve the work he does, mostly voluntary. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  John Patrick (JP) Ting is a senior Husky that deserves recognition for his hard work and leadership qualities that he has demonstrated throughout his three years in the Culinary Arts program. JP always volunteered to help his peers and others in the kitchen and in the classroom. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Hamilton senior Ryan Castillo is a superior student-athlete in football and wrestling who balances his brains and brawn in the classroom and on the mat. His wrestling accomplishments are as follows: 36-3 record (1 loss at his final weight class, 195 lbs), 3rd place at State 2020. Won the Mile High Challenge, Flowing Wells Invitational, and Sectional Tournament this season. Named AZCentral Scholar Athlete of the Week back in January. Castillo has a 3.9 GPA, 25-2 dual record and 16 pins under his belt this season. Castillo is also a leader in the classroom and plans to major in biology or pre-med at Northern Arizona University. Ryan Dempsey
SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Ryan Dempsey has been an artist his entire life. He has had several art shows, sold his first piece of art at age 6, and shipped pieces of his art to collectors worldwide. Last spring, his AP Studio Art portfolio earned a 5, and this year his portfolio plus two other pieces won Gold Keys from the Scholastic Regional Art competition and are now headed to the national competition. Ryan was co-founder of the Hamilton's Captain's Club, and one of two representatives from Hamilton on the district athletics leadership club, CUSD Sol. A founding member of Hamilton's XC tutoring club, he volunteered over 400 hours of service tutoring elementary and junior high students. Ryan's amazing track and cross country career includes being MVP and team captain, named to All-State and All District teams, and receiving an All-American Award for cross country. Cooper Maas
SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Although this was Cooper Maas's first year on Hamilton pomline, she quickly became an asset to the team. Cooper joined pom as a senior, and immediately became a leader for the rest of her peers. She motivated athletes by displaying amazing technique, determination and effort, but she also encouraged her teammates to always push harder and achieve their goals. Cooper was part of the jazz and pom competition teams, and she helped Hamilton become National Dance Team semifinalists in both categories, Universal Dance Association Regional Jazz and State Dance Champions. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Sean Wiley embodies the definition of student athlete and selfless community servant. His impressive ability to succeed, despite the challenges of growing up in an active duty military family, are unmatched. Sean lived in eight different states, attended five different schools, and endured two yearlong wartime family separations. He overcame these adversities through hard work and perseverance to become an AP Scholar with a 4.4 GPA, a member of the National Honor Society, an officer in the Photography Club, and was selected AP Photo Student of the Year. Sean combined his love of photography with passion for service by sharing his photography, matting, and framing skills decorating the dental offices of the CUSD Chandler Care Center for guests to enjoy while attending appointments. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Akshay Murali has been very involved on campus. He is in the top 20% of his class and has accomplished much in his two years as a Hamilton Husky. He is the vice president of ASCE (American Society Of Civil Engineers) Club and the USA Computing Olympiad. Akshay also participated in Robotics Club and served as treasurer and statistical analyst for Interact. He recently placed 3rd at the Arizona Science and Engineering Fair (AzSEF) in Environmental Engineering. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Carson Beck was busy last summer learning to fly. He was one of 120 student cadets from around the world accepted into the inaugural class of the U.S. Air Force Flight Academy, where he earned a pilot's license. Carson was awarded the VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Cadet of the Year for Arizona. He is currently a unit commander in JROTC. In addition, Carson is busy serving as Executive Officer of fundraising for Hamilton's Student Government and worked as President of LINK Crew for the past two years. In his free time, he has managed to earn the highest rank in Boy Scouts, the prestigious Eagle Scout. Carson will be attending the University of Colorado Boulder on a Marine ROTC Scholarship. SENIOR HIGHLIGHT:  Destinee McCaster is heavily involved in both school and community theatre, winning Superiors and several first places for group, duo and solo performances and directing. Destinee placed first at the Chandler Film Festival for her Public Service Announcement. Her college submission short film on mental health won several awards. She is currently serving as president for both Drama Club and Film Club, as well as vice president of Urban Lemmings, an improv troupe.
