• Willis Students Participate in Live Love Day
    Students
On Saturday, October 26th, a group of Willis students and teachers participated in Live Love Day, completing clean-up projects in our local neighborhoods.
Representatives of the Student Ambassador Club and Student Council began the day at Galveston Elementary School, raking, picking up trash and sprucing up the grounds. The group then proceeded to Pima Park where they assisted City of Chandler employees with a clean-up effort--raking and bagging leaves and tree limbs.
This was a great opportunity for kids at Willis to give back to our local community. One goal of the Student Ambassador's Club is to emphasize that we are not just a school in the community--we are a COMMUNITY school. Thanks to everyone who participated in the Live Love Day project - we look forward to finding more ways to make a difference in our world!
