    I am very proud to be a Firebird and work at a school that truly has a pathway to success for every student. I encourage every student to take advantage of everything that Willis has to offer so they leave here with a well rounded experience. I look forward to working with you and your student this year.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I hold a BA from the State University of New York, College at Cortland and a MEd from Northern Arizona University in Education Leadership. I have a combined 29 years in education as a teacher and administrator, with all 29 years working with this age group. I couldn't imagine working with any other age group as I find our students so enjoyable to help them find their ways.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as a educator to help students meet their fullest potential in these areas by providing an environment that is safe, supports risk-taking, and invites a sharing of ideas.
