     Chandler Unified School District’s First Things First Pre-Kindergarten Scholarships provide opportunities for families to enroll their preschool aged child in a high-quality preschool program taught by a certified teacher. Our learning environments nurture the emotional, social, and academic development of every child, and prepares them for kindergarten.

    • Child must be 3 years old by August 31, 2022 for Preschool Scholarships or 4 years old by August 31, 2022 for PreK Scholarships
    • Child must be a U.S. citizen or a legal resident of the U.S

    Reduced tuition rates for families who meet the eligibility criteria

    Monthly co-pay will be determined based upon full time PreK or full time/part time Preschool schedule:

    • PreK co-pay is $85 (Prek with Extended care $220) per month
    • Preschool half day co-pay is $55 and full day co-pay is $85 (Preschool full day with Extended care $220) per month

    HOW TO APPLY FOR 2022-2023 SCHOLARSHIPS: (please follow all these steps completely. You will not be considered for a scholarship if the online registration is not submitted correctly)

    1. Scholarship Online Registration Steps:

    Complete the online Quality First Pre-K Scholarship application for the 2022-2023 school year:

    2. Register in Eleyo and complete the steps below to finalize your scholarship application:

    • Go to https://cusd80.ce.eleyo.com and create an account, adding your child as well.
    • After your account is created choose “Child Care/Preschool.”
    • Choose Season: “Choose School 22/23.” 
    • Choose your first choice for a location. PreK is for children 4 years old and Preschool for children 3 years old, both by August 31, 2022.
    • Confirm your child’s information or "add a new child" then click “Looks good start registering.”
    • Follow the on-screen instructions and fill out each section entirely to move on to the next page. You will be asked to choose your 2nd and 3rd desired locations if your first choice becomes full. Please put them in order.
    • You will have to put in a Credit Card to Submit- YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED! (however, this payment type will be used for the monthly co-pay if approved).
    • Once you submit, you will receive an email letting you know that your application has been submitted and your "contract is now pending."

    3. Scholarships are limited and are awarded on a first come first serve basis. 

    4. Families who submit contracts online will be contacted for more information and to set up in-person appointments. This is when the scholarship can be approved and issued. In order to be approved, you MUST bring the completed application (even if a copy was previously sent to me, along with the required documentation below to your appointment. If any items are missing, scholarships cannot be awarded and your spot may be forfeited).

    REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION: (subject to change once allocations are obtained at the beginning of May)

    • Child's birth certificate
    • Child's immunization record
    • Proof of residence (utility bill)
    • Proof of income: one month of consecutive pay stubs for the students' legal guardian(s) and page 1 of most current annual income tax return with listed dependents OR an AHCCCS approval packet dated within 12 months of your appointment
