About
McClure...
Hi, my name is Sydnee McClure. I am from Texas but have been in AZ for over 20 years. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling and love all things Dr. Seuss and Disney. I began teaching at Knox in 2019 and I am proud to be a Knight!
My Education and Professional Background
I began my career in education in January 2008. I graduated from Grand Canyon University with my degree in elementary education and special education. I then graduated with my masters from ASU in Special Education. I also hold my Early Childhood Endorsement.
My Educational Philosophy
Being a teacher and having the opportunity to work with students to figure out how they learn best is one of my biggest passions. I believe every student can learn in their own individual way and often the smallest steps are the biggest accomplishments. I strive to create a classroom of acceptance and kindness, as well as challenging students to step out of their comfort zone and discover new capabilities they didn’t know they had.
