About
Holbrook...
Welcome to first grade! I look forward to a fun and engaging school year with your child! Thank you for being my partner in education.
My Education and Professional Background
My love of teaching began while attending the University of Central Missouri of which I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. My first three years of teaching were spent in my hometown in southwest Missouri, teaching second and fourth grades. I then joined the KGA family and have taught 3rd and 1st grades. I am excited to continue enriching students' lives through integrated learning.
My Educational Philosophy
I am passionate about teaching children the "why's and how's" of the world around them. I work hard to instill a love of learning and questioning in every student. I believe encouraging students to embrace their failures, act on their passions, learn through discovery, and collaborate with one another is crucial to their long-term success.
