About
Dalton...
Welcome! Thank you for visiting my bio page. It is my honor and privilege to be a part of your child's life. I look forward to an amazing year of growth and learning!
My Education and Professional Background
My desire to become a teacher developed during my bachelor's program. From there I pursued a Masters in Educational Leadership. My professional experience began in 1998. I have taught preschool, as well as, 3rd through 8th grades. I was thrilled to discover that my path lead me to Knox Gifted Academy. I can't wait to see what this year has to offer!
My Educational Philosophy
It is my belief that each child is a unique individual who deserves a safe and caring atmosphere that will enhance emotional, intellectual, physical, and social growth . In order to have students meet their fullest potential in these areas I will provide an environment that allows students to take risks, explore their interests, and share their thoughts and ideas about learning with others.
