    Welcome!

    Hello! I am so excited to be teaching at Knox Gifted Academy this year! I grew up in Chandler and attended CUSD schools from kindergarten through high school!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated from Northern Arizona University. I have my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and my Master's in Educational Leadership.

    This will be my 10th year teaching! I have taught in several places, including Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and South Korea. I have taught kindergarten through 4th grade, but 3rd grade is my absolute favorite! 

    My Educational Philosophy

    I truly believe that teaching is my calling. I absolutely love working with children. I focus on building positive relationships with my students. I enjoy learning new things from them and watching them grow throughout the year. I believe in doing what is best to support every child and family. I want students to feel successful in my classroom. I work hard to create a safe, caring, and empowering environment for all students. I am a facilitator of learning and want to ensure each student is challenged and supported with the freedom to use their imaginations in their learning.
