"The myth I want to expose my students to is that intelligence = instant and easy. I want them to see that intelligence takes thought, time, and effort. Think deeply, consider all angles, and be patient."
-- Robert Ward, Teacher

Welcome!

I'm looking forward to an exciting year!

My Education and Professional Background

The 2019-2020 school year will be my 13th year teaching! I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University. I have completed both Spalding I and II training and have a Structured English Immersion (SEI) Endorsement.

My Educational Philosophy

As an educator, my goal is to develop the whole child while helping students recognize that effort is key to their success. I believe students thrive in a structured, supportive classroom where respect and high expectations are set and maintained as they work to meet their goals.
