    Welcome to 3rd Grade! I am excited to be a part of CTA Independence as your child's 3rd Grade Teacher. I am looking forward to a an amazing year and creating a community of lifelong learners!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University in 2007. I started teaching in July of 2008 at a different elementary school in Chandler Unified School District. I have an Early Childhood Endorsement, English as a Second Language Endorsement, and a Reading Specialist Endorsement. In 2015, I received my Masters Degree from NAU in Educational Leadership with my Principal Certification. I have also previously taught 4th Grade,1st Grade and Kindergarten.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all children are capable of learning, but all learn at a different pace and through different strategies. It is my job as your child’s teacher to create a positive and welcoming learning environment, free of judgement and fear, so that your child can reach their full academic potential.
