The 2022-2023 school year will be my 8th year teaching! I graduated with my degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University with endorsements in Language Arts, Social Studies, Spanish and Science. I also have an endorsement in Structured English Immersion (SEI) & have completed Spalding Training. I recently completed my masters in Instructional Design and Technology from the American College of Education. During college, I was able to teach at a school in Pevensey, England and had the opportunity to learn about the different European cultures through my travels. After college, I became a Special Education Paraprofessional at a junior high school in my hometown of Naperville, IL. The following year, I moved to Arizona to begin my teaching career. Before teaching at CTA, I taught 3rd grade in Casa Grande.
