    Welcome!

    Hello! My name is Kristy Ausdemore and I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade at CTA Independence. I am sure it will be a memorable year full of excitement and learning!

    My Education and Professional Background

    My childhood was spent growing up in the Dakotas and Montana. I received a Bachelors of Education in Elementary Education, a Reading Endorsement and a Master's of Art in Special Education from Eastern Washington University. I have been in the education field for over 20 years. I have taught in several different special education settings, general education settings, and have worked as an educational consultant from the top of Alaska to the tip of Texas and many places in between. I have enjoyed the many different life experiences that brought my family to live in Chandler, Arizona.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I love teaching and am invested wholeheartedly in the success of all the children who enter my classroom. Each child has their own unique needs and strengths. My goal this school year is to ensure that those needs are met as the continue to grow, so that every student leaves my classroom with the skills needed to be successful not only in school but life.
