    Hello, Independence Hawks! My name is Elizabeth Sacco and I'm looking forward to being your Assistant Principal.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I taught elementary and middle school for ten years in the Bordentown, Glendale, and Chandler school districts and was the Dean of Students at Carlson Elementary for a year and Assistant Principal for two years at Patterson Elementary. I graduated from Kean University where I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary/Middle School Education (K-8). I also earned my master's degree in Reading and Literacy (K-8) from Walden University and hold a master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University.

    My Educational Philosophy

    Every child should feel valued and connected to the school through meaningful relationships to both staff and other students. My mission as Assistant Principal is to support the staff, students, and families while providing a positive learning environment for all learners to grow and develop. I believe if we have students' interests in mind, we win 100% of the time!
