Chandler Children’s Dental Clinic
serving Chandler youth ages birth – 18
The CARE Center Dental Clinic is a four operatory facility providing no-cost dental services to eligible children thanks to generous funding support from City of Chandler and Chandler Unified School District, as well as partnerships with Dignity Health’s Chandler Regional Medical Center Children’s Dental Clinic and St. Vincent de Paul Clinic.
Chandler Regional Medical Center (CRMC) provides no-cost dental exams, dental cleanings, fluoride varnish treatments and dental sealants as well as oral health education for kids from their first tooth - 18. By appointment only T, Th, F. CRMC also provides dental screening, fluoride varnish, and oral health education for kids 0-5 through a grant from FTF. This service is provided on a walk-in basis during the Thursday afternoon immunization clinics conducted by CRMC at the CARE Center.
No-cost restorative dental services (fillings, extractions, root canals, etc.) for uninsured children birth – 18 are provided by St. Vincent de Paul on Wednesdays at the CARE Center. Restorative services are limited to uninsured children 2-18 who live in Chandler and/or attend a CUSD school, through referral from CRMC's preventive program only.
Dental Services Provided Include:
- Fluoride varnish
- Dental sealants to protect teeth
- Oral hygiene education
- Referrals for restorative treatment
To qualify children must be 18 years of age or younger; and qualify for a federal, state, county or local health care program; qualify for a free or reduced federal school meal program; or from a family with a household income under 200 percent of federal poverty guidelines.
