    Welcome!

    Hello and welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am so happy to be back for my third year teaching Technology at KGA. Last year was full of exploration into so many fun components of Technology, and I look forward to digging even more deeply into new and exciting challenges this year!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I attended NAU and earned a degree in business before realizing that my passion was teaching, which led me back to school for another degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. I taught in Scottsdale and Colorado before settling permanently in the Chandler School District in 2013.  I have taught grades 1-5 in both the general education and gifted classroom.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that a student has to feel safe, understood, and supported in order to be in the best state of mind to learn. I want my students to feel challenged, be thrilled at the prospect of discovering new ideas and information, and celebrated for the unique individual they are.
