We have so much fun in second grade music! At this stage in our musical learning, we are starting to put names with our musical experiences. For example, we start to read quarter and eighth notes--yes real music! We give names to our singing pitches too! This is a neat phase in our learning because we really start to feel like the big kids.I believe children need to experience as many musical activities as we can. We will continue moving around our space, singing, playing music games, playing instruments and creating music together.
