    SCHOLARSHIP LISTS

    Open to juniors and seniors. Complete 6 steps & be eligible for up to $40,000 in college scholarships! Take the pledge and complete 6 steps today! Visit their website for details. 

    For students enrolled in Navajo Nation. Please visit website for important eligibility requirements. Due June 2019. 

    For Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, or Native American seniors interested in studying Chemistry or Science. Scholars receive up to $5,000 per year for tuition expenses. Due March 1, 2019. 

    $2,000 for graduating seniors that are interested in studying Natural Resources. Submit letter of application, resume, reccommendation letters, tribal enrollment info, and transcripts by March 15, 2019. 

    Complete application, proof of tribal enrollment, and transcripts. Up to $2,000 per year. Awardees must maintain 2.0GPA and submit final grades each semester. Due April 4, 2019. 

     Apply online to numerous scholarships (amounts vary).  Must be enrolled in a federally recognized tribe and plan to be a full-time student. Scholarships are non-renewable. Note: Includes numerous supplemental essays/questions. Please review online. Due March 2019. 

    The organization partners with numerous tribes, foundations, and other corporations to fund student scholarships. Scholarships include the Wells Fargo American Indian Scholarship, Accenture American Indian Scholarship Fund, and more. Opens January 2019, due May 2019. 

    Based in Salt Lake City, UT, they provide financial support to American Indian students. Students must be 1/4 enrolled member of tribal nation. Opens in February 2019, due May 1, 2019.

    Seniors can apply beginning January 2019. Complete one application online and students are matched with a number of scholarships that they qualify for. Deadlines range from March to May 2019.

     

     

     

     

    Closed 2018-2019 Scholarships:
      
    • JOM Chief Earl Old Person Scholarship 

    Complete application, essay, submit proof of tribal enrollment, photo, and transcript. Due February 15, 2019. CEOP Application

     
     
        • Awarded to high school graduates who plan to earn a degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Additional fellowships are given to JRF Scholars to pursue opportunities to work and study abroad, and for post-graduate education. Scholars receive up to $30,000 over 4 years. Open to current seniors, attend 4 year university, show leadership potential, present evidence of financial need, and have minimum of 1000 on SAT, or 21 on ACT. Due February 1, 2019.

          Kent Cooke Scholarship 

        DUE November 20, 2018. Highly competetive scholarship for students with financial need, up to $40,000 (covers tuition, living expenses, books, and fees) - must be graduating senior, 3.5 GPA or higher, and minimum of 26 on ACT or 1200 on SAT. Will consider applicants with family income up to $95,000. 

        Student must be planning to attend NAU, ASU, or U of A only. Earn up to $4,500 each year. See website for eligibility requirements. Deadline for Fall 2019 is November 1, 2018.  Inquire to see if they accept applications beyond 11/1/18. 

        The Gates Scholarship

      DUE September 18, 2018 for high school seniors only. Must have 3.3 GPA and provide proof of tribal enrollment. See website for more eligibility information! This is a potentail full-ride scholarship for your Bachelor's degee. 

      DUE September 27, 2018 for high school seniors only. Seeking students who have demonstrated high levels of academic achievement (GPA and standardized test scores).

      Competitive $20,000 scholarship available. Apply online today and submit by October 31, 2018.

      $25,000 available, includes paid trip to Washington DC. Must plan to attend a 4 year or 2 year university (2yr university credits must transfer to 4 year institution). Must demonstrate financial need, minimum 2.0 GPA, no ACT or SAT minimum scores needed. Looking for students who have confronted and overcome significant adversity. Due: October 25, 2018.

     

    For students with interest in automotive industry. Submit application materials and essay for chance to receive a $3,500 scholarship. All materials (application, essay, resume, recommendations, transcript, test scores) due by March 30, 2018

    Organization that supports American Indian higher education. Apply online today for the Full Circle Scholarship Program. Due by May 2018.  
     
    Program that focuses on education, cultural preservation, and sovereignty. They offer scholarships and emergency funding.  
      
    The American Indian Science & Engineering Society partners with corporations such as Intel and the Naval Sea Systems Command to provide more than ten scholarships to students interested in Science, Math, Technology, or Engineering academic programs.
