My Educational Philosophy

Just as a ship has a skilled captain, so should a classroom have a knowledgeable and passionate teacher at its helm (helping to guide and nurture student learning). There is no other profession as critical as teaching the younger generation the knowledge gained from thousands of years of human experience. We literally have the combined knowledge of academia since the dawn of human history at our fingertips. This is so exciting to think about! It is the job of the educator to take this amalgam of information and present it in a stimulating, organized, and relatable way so that students can be successful. I always say, "Learning can be fun!"
