    Welcome to the new school year at Payne Jr High! I am excited about starting a new year and the media center has great things planned for this year, so be sure to stay tuned!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I've been at Payne Junior High School since 2012. I previously worked as a special education teacher for 17 years. I made the transition to media specialist in 2015. I have a bachelors degree from Arizona State in History and a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that there are no students who don't like to read, only students who have not yet found the right book.
