    Welcome to Payne. I will be teaching 7th grade Science.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I graduated summa cum laude from Arizona State University with both my Bachelor's in Elementary Education and my Master's in Literacy Leadership with a focus on Reading. I am fully endorsed in K-8 Reading, Middle School Science, and SEI. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State University and Chandler-Gilbert CC, where I teach several reading, motivation, and special education classes.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that ALL children are unique individuals and that ALL children are capable of learning. This learning should occur in a safe environment while challenging them to be creative, cooperative, literate and independent thinkers. With the right motivation and help from school and home, I know that your children will be successful.
