Each year students in preschool, kindergarten, those with IEPs, and those new to the Chandler Unified School District will have their hearing and vision screened. If you do not want your child to receive a hearing and vision screening, you may opt out. Just download and complete the opt out form, which must be signed and returned to the health office at your child's school.
All medications must be brought in by the parents directly to a school official. Acetaminophen (non-aspirin) is stocked by the health office. All medications must be in the original containers with all warnings and directions intact. No medication in envelopes, foil or baggies will be administered. Medications will not be sent home with a student.
