Students in Amanda Griffin's Gifted Geometry Class "worked their magic" constructing similar right triangles and geometric mean to indirectly measure the height of the gym wall. The next week, they used class-made clinometers and trigonometric ratios (Sine - Cosine - Tangent) to measure the same walls and compare. You couldn't ask for more beautiful weather to be outside and enjoying some math!
