About
Palafox...
This year will be filled with many new and challenging experiences. I look forward to teaching Spanish and watching my students learn and grow.
My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from Arizona State University in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management and a Minor in Spanish. In 2002, I earned my Masters of Arts in Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix. I started my teaching career in 1997 at Glendale Unified School District where I taught fourth grade. I also worked for Mesa Unified School District for seven years teaching third and fifth grades. I have been teaching for Chandler Unified District since 2007 where I have taught third and sixth grades.
My Educational Philosophy
As an educator, I want to create a safe learning environment where students are eager to learn and grow. I want to prepare them to be champions in life, to overcome adversity, learn from mistakes, and grow to face any challenge that comes their way. I believe that through hard work and perseverance, students can accomplish anything they set their minds and hearts to do.
